About Us
We are a Reformed Christian church plant in Dasmariñas, Cavite, Philippines—united by a common faith in Jesus Christ and a desire to see him glorified in our individual lives, marriages, families, workplaces, and the community at large. We long to grow more in the grace and knowledge of Christ, not just in doctrine but also in life.
Our Story thus Far
After leaving his previous church, Pastor Reuel Dawal gathered with his family and other Christian families to discuss the plan to plant a local Reformed Church in Dasmariñas, Cavite. Upon studying God's Word and praying, and realizing the need for more biblically sound churches in the locality, the group was set to start the mission work.
The mission work began with a Bible Study series based on Paul's letter to the Ephesians, which Pastor Reuel deemed essential for laying the foundation of the church plant. For four (4) Sunday afternoons, we gathered at a restaurant and a public park in Dasmariñas, Cavite as our temporary place of fellowship. The core group then grew into seven (7) families.
After a few weeks of saving and planning, the Lord has blessed us with a place to rent for our Lord's Day services. We held our very first public worship service on February 4, 2024, and we were joined by two (2) more families.
After completing our 7-part membership classes, eight (8) families were received as formal church members. The parents publicly professed their faith and commitment to Christ and his body, while three (3) covenant children were also baptized.
To keep moving forward as a church plant, we revisited our Mission and Vision, celebrated God's faithfulness, and planned the next steps for the mission work. We also formed our steering committee to help establish the church ministry in its early stages. We look forward to how the Lord will direct and bless us from here onwards.
