Everyone is dependent on God for success in all things. Any human effort is useless apart from God’s blessing and providence. It doesn’t mean we no longer work and be responsible. But we build and watch over the work of our hands in full dependence on God.
This applies to everything—including our families. Our children are God’s gifts, and He uses godly children as “weapons of war” to fight against ungodliness and spread His kingdom in this fallen world. While we are distressed with the wickedness of this world—in full dependence on God, let Christian parents get busy building godly marriages and families. Let us bring up the next generation as leaders and people who know the Lord and live for Him.
